The Fred Whitton Challenge consists of a 112 mile cycle race around the Lake District, starting at Grasmere and taking in climbs of Kirkstone, Honister, Newlands, Whinlatter, Hardknott & Wrynose passes. Meditations in Dove Cottage
Eileen Pun, a local resident, will be leading an afternoon exploring tai chi and meditative arts in Dove Cottage Gardens. The sessions will also include Chinese tea and the option of journal writing after the exercises. There will be workshops every fortnight which are all free.

This year Grasmere Gallop takes place on Saturday 3rd June amidst the spectacular surroundings of Grasmere Village and Rydal Water.
